Digital Scrapbooking: A Dream Come True for Creative Scrapbookers (And the Not So Creative)
62Even I can Be Creative
Creativity has never been one of my "strong points." Teachers are supposed to be creative, right? Though I love working with young children, I must rely on technology and the resources of friends for creative ideas. The same is true for scrapbooking. Several of my friends love traditional scrapbooking. They will wade through mounds of pretty papers, cut-outs, and all kinds of other paper scrapbooking paraphernalia in order to create their memory masterpieces. Not me. I have tried . . . many times, but it just doesn't happen for me. I end up with a mound of mess with my fingers glued together and appendages cut off my loved ones bodies because I tried to use those fancy scissors that make pretty edges . . . well, pretty for some people.
After I finally entered the current century, I bought a digital camera. Since then, I have been using an online site to store and create photo books. I just upload the photos, drag them onto a prearranged page, and order the book. Done! I love the site, but there are times when I do wish I could have more customization options and sometimes the photos take a long time to load.
Well, I might have found the answer. Recently, I was introduced to My Memories. My Memories offers digital software and paper packs. Visit the site, order your favorite digital paper packs and create beautiful digital scrapbook pages with your favorite digital photo memories.
I have explored the site a bit and have found so many beautiful paper packs that I can't decide what I want to use first. I have entered to win a free software package. If I don't win, I plan to order a package and get started.
Perhaps you would like to visit the site for yourself. Please use the following code for $10.00 off My Memories Suite v2: STMMMS65817
Visit My Memories and don't forget to use the code STMMMS65817 for $10.00 off My Memories Suite v2!!
I hope you enjoy your digital scrapbooking experience!

I dabble in digi and hybrid - mostly because I'm windy - and those little coffee table books rock, but I do love traditional - being mussed up in part of the process. UP and useful!
